Winter season 2026 is officially wrapped up 
and what a season it was.
From translations and meetups to mentorship, and dev work, nymsters around the world kept showing up and pushing things forward. A big thank you to everyone who contributed - your work keeps the movement growing!

Leaderboard, grants and new missions are now available on nymhub.space, making it much easier to track progress and explore contributions in one place.
If you collected POAPs, joined quizzes, completed missions, contributed through grants, or submitted reports this season, make sure to check your standing there.

Squad Wealth Fund update
What is the Squad Wealth Fund?
The Squad Wealth Fund (SWF) is the community treasury. Every season, it’s replenished through the Nym Delegations Program and allocated to community missions, development, events, and operations.
- NYM tokens are delegated to mix nodes
- Rewards are collected and added to the SWF
- Grants and bounties are distributed to contributors
- A seasonal report like this one is generated
The Squad Wealth Fund saw another very strong season. Over 2.3 million NYM came in over Winter 2026, up more than 600k NYM from last season, helped by higher activity in the Nym delegations program.
Spending by category
Spending also increased, with 794,372 NYM distributed across contributions, reflecting both a more active season and the expansion of reward categories. Translation rewards in particular were revamped and significantly increased, and with a large volume of translation work this season, that became the biggest spending category.
Total SWF Reserves: 5,667,825 $NYM
The season closed with a healthy net surplus of 1,569,132 NYM, pushing the SWF reserve up to an all-time high of 5.6M NYM! Marking yet another season of growth for the fund.
Some 
contributions this season
Winter 2026 brought 44 contributions across community and development work, with 794,372 NYM distributed in total.
This season included:
- community management reports in Ukrainian, Portuguese, Spanish, and Russian
- major translation work across Ukrainian, Russian, Chinese, Spanish, Hindi, Bengali, and Persian
- developer grants pushing forward the ecosystem, including NymVPN on OpenWRT
- community calls and meetups across LATAM, North America, Central Asia, Vietnam, and beyond
- continued support for node operators through the mentorship program
- visual experiments and new ways of demonstrating the power of the mixnet
Highlights
A standout season from @unclelem
Special shoutout to @unclelem, who was on fire this season. From running the lecture series in Almaty 
and supporting the CrackIt championship in Kazakhstan to pushing forward work around the Nym node checker. He really showed up everywhere this season!
@code-zm brought NymVPN to OpenWRT
A standout development contribution this season came from @code-zm, who received a 70,000 NYM Build with Nym grant to bring NymVPN to OpenWRT, and delivered!
BWNym squad keeps building in LATAM
Big shoutout to BWNym squad for their continued work in LATAM, including events and community efforts that helped keep Nym visible and active across the region.
Their season included:
- Nym at Crypto Party event in Cuenca, Ecuador
- Nym at Devconnect Argentina 2025
- El rincón de la privacidad, the Spanish community call
- a strong Spanish translations report for March 2026
NymSTAR Awards and tokens of appreciation
