Spring season 2026 is officially wrapped up 
and Nym continued growing with all of you!
From translations and meetups to mentorship, node tooling, and a wave of dev work, nymsters around the world kept showing up and pushing things forward. A big thank you to everyone who contributed, your work keeps the movement growing!

Squad Wealth Fund update
What is the Squad Wealth Fund?
The Squad Wealth Fund (SWF) is the community treasury. Every season, it’s replenished through the Nym Delegations Program and allocated to community missions, development, events, and operations.
- NYM tokens are delegated to mix nodes
- Rewards are collected and added to the SWF
- Grants and bounties are distributed to contributors
- A seasonal report like this one is generated
The Squad Wealth Fund saw another strong season. Over 2,363,504 NYM came in over Spring 2026, helped by continued activity in the Nym delegations program. (Placeholder, using last season’s income figure; update with the confirmed Spring number before posting.)
Spending by category
Spending came to 824,397 NYM distributed across contributions this season. Translation work was again the biggest category by volume, followed by development grants, with major Build with Nym work on NymHUB, the NymVPN Telegram bot, and node tooling.

The season closed with a net surplus of 1,539,107 NYM, pushing the SWF reserve to 7,206,932 NYM, another season of growth for the fund.
Some contributions this season
Spring 2026 brought 59 contributions across community and development work, with 824,397 NYM distributed in total.
This season included:
- major translation work across Arabic, Ukrainian, Russian, Chinese, Spanish, Hindi, Bengali, and Persian
- community management reports in Ukrainian, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish
- developer grants pushing the ecosystem forward, a NymHUB redesign, the NymVPN Telegram bot, a Nym node checker, and a nym-node auto-updater
- community talks and meetups across LATAM, North America, and Central Asia
- continued support for node operators through the mentorship program
- new experiments like NymDrop and AEC, Air Gapped Encrypted Communications
Highlights
A standout season from @unclelem
Special shoutout to @unclelem, who was everywhere this season, from the NymVPN Telegram bot and nym-node auto-updater to the Nym node checker, the Harry Halpin guest lecture in Almaty, Russian translations and community management, and showrunning. A huge season.
The NymHUB redesign
A big development theme this season was the NymHUB redesign, wireframing and design work (@ninjafire and mynja1122) that’s reshaping how the community platform looks and feels.
BWNym squad keeps building in LATAM
Big shoutout to BWNym squad for continued Spanish community management, translations, and mentorship work keeping Nym visible and active across LATAM.
