Nashville Privacy Meetup - Diskin Cider
Event Date: September 20, 2025
Location: 1235 Martin Street, Nashville TN
Overview
On September 20th, 2025, WebWipe hosted a Privacy pop up event at Diskin Cider in Nashville, Tennessee. This is the 5th privacy event WebWipe’s done around the country and the third pop-up one that had Nym and NymVPN as a topic. The first one was held in May at Pubkey. We collaborated with WebWipe to bring the Nym presentation to their event. The most recent meetup prior to Nashville was held at the end of July in Charlotte.
Event Highlights
The event went from 6-10 pm. The venue was accommodating and gave us a private partition for the meetup. Diskin Cider’s location is near Nashville’s Bitcoin Park which was hosting an event that night. We had a few attendees that came after being at an all-day event @ Bitcoin Park
. Presentations began at 6:15 pm and finished around 9:15 pm. A good portion stayed a few hours after chatting more. There were Nym stickers and a 1-month NymVPN promo for attendees. I presented on NymVPN following the EdgeWallet demo.

- What information can an exit node gather about users?
- What is the percentage of malicious nodes that would be needed to reach to break the privacy guarantees?
There will be more meetups we join WebWipe for across the US. We’ll share next locations on the forum. We hope to see you there, and help us spread the word! ![]()
