I would like to write a short, beginner friendly article explaining metadata and why it matters for online privacy.

The article will cover:

→ What internet traffic can reveal
→ Why encryption alone may not hide metadata
→ What traffic analysis means
→ How mixnets help protect metadata
→ How Nym approaches this problem

The goal is to make a complex privacy topic simple and accessible while keeping the information technically accurate.

I will use Nym’s official documentation and other reliable sources for research and fact checking, and I’ll follow the Nym style guidelines.

Format: Short educational article (~1,000 words).
