Event Description:
The NymVPN lecture was held at Narxoz University, one of Central Asia’s leading universities in economics and business education. The session brought together first-year students from various programs who are just beginning their academic journey. Around 50–55 students attended the event.
Lecture Goal:
The lecture focused on privacy and anonymity issues in the digital age, discussing how modern technologies and services, such as NymVPN, can help restore lost privacy in the face of increasing digital surveillance.
Event Format:
The lecture lasted about 1 hour. For lecture i made a second version of the document. It included interactive elements designed to foster better engagement with the audience, making the session more engaging and informative for the participants. Link for it is here.
Prize Draw:
At the end of the lecture, 10 Nym-branded t-shirts were raffled off as prizes. The winners were randomly selected from the attendees.
Additional Benefits for Attendees:
9 students (including their teacher) expressed interest in taking a free basic course on “NymVPN and Cybersecurity in the Age of Technology,” which will consist of 5 sessions, culminating in the awarding of certificates of completion.
