Event overview
On 10 November 2024, we organised an offline event to test the beta version of NYM VPN and collect feedback on how it works on different platforms such as Android, macOS, and iOS. Participants were encouraged to continue using the app and stay tuned for updates for further improvements.

Main measures:
1. Testing the beta version of NYM VPN:
- Tested devices: Android, macOS, iOS
- Modes of operation: Two modes were tested with a focus on measuring internet speed and performance.
- 2-stage mode: Recommended for everyday use due to the optimal balance of speed and privacy.
- 5-Stage mode: Suitable for activities that require increased security, such as private communication or online banking, where additional privacy is more important than a slight decrease in speed.
2. Interactive role-playing exercise:
- Each participant presented a cybersecurity problem, and the other proposed a solution on how NYM VPN could help solve or minimise it. This exercise allowed the participants to creatively explore the potential of NYM VPN in different situations and gain a deeper understanding of its impact on everyday privacy issues.

- Knowledge and discoveries: All participants indicated that they learnt new things about NYM VPN and its capabilities in protecting online privacy.
- Evaluation of the experience: The majority of participants rated their experience with NYM VPN 5 out of 5, noting the stability and security of their connections, as well as the ease of installation.

The NYM VPN testing workshop was a success, and the participants provided valuable feedback on its performance and practical application. The comments received will be used to improve the product, and the positive feedback indicates a strong interest in the privacy solutions offered by NYM VPN. In future events, we will take the recommendations into account to ensure a more practical experience and improved interaction.
