1. RECAP
During Vietnam Web3 Week 2025, Nym actively participated in three major industry events:
- GM Vietnam (National Convention Center, Hanoi): Held as part of Vietnam Blockchain Week in Hanoi, brought together developers, entrepreneurs, investors, and tech enthusiasts. The event featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, and networking sessions, fostering collaboration and opening new market opportunities. It strengthened global connections and showcased Vietnam’s growing role in shaping the future of blockchain and Web3 innovation.
- ETH Vietnam 2025 (Independence Palace, Ho Chi Minh City): A big event held annually created meaningful conversations around technology, blockchain and decentralization. The event offered opportunities for networking, idea exchange, and exploring collaboration possibilities within the global Web3 ecosystem.
- Conviction (Thiskyhall, Ho Chi Minh City): A conference introducing fresh perspectives on DeFi, Blockchain, AI, and emerging technology trends. Nym contributed to discussions about privacy as a foundational layer for the future of Web3 and open digital infrastructure.
Through these events, Nym strengthened its presence in the Vietnamese Web3 community, introduced its vision for a privacy-preserving internet to a wider audience, and connected with potential partners, developers, and ecosystem contributors. This exposure not only expanded brand recognition but also helped communicate Nym’s commitment to empowering users through privacy.
2. COMMUNITY OUTREACH
I personally connected with local communities, builders, and Web3 guilds previously engaged with. This targeted approach helped identify potential advocates, contributors, and integration partners in the region.
Through these events, I actively showcased NymVPN to partners and participants, offering live demos that highlighted its unique mixnet-powered privacy features. These demonstrations clearly illustrated how NymVPN outperforms traditional VPNs in protecting metadata, concealing IP addresses, and resisting censorship, generating strong interest from both individuals and projects in need of robust digital privacy solutions.

3. MEDIA COVERAGE
Documented key moments throughout the events to create an engaging visual recap for the Nym community. Shared photos and highlights across Nym’s official channels to sustain visibility and momentum post-event.
4. POST-EVENT SUMMARY
Compiled a comprehensive recap of activities and community engagement. Shared the report internally with the Nym team to support future strategy, ambassador recruitment, and event planning efforts in Vietnam.

OUTCOME: As a direct result of the social media promotion, the offline activities and networking efforts, over 500 new members joined the Vietnamese Nym Telegram group, significantly boosting the size and engagement of the local community.
