Hello everyone. Happy user of NymVPN so far but i would like to report that on the android app and desktop app, sometimes, NymVPN disconnects and struggle to reconnect. Quite annoying but since that’s a young project i can live with that. Has anyone also experienced that?
I run it on grapheneOS with the built in Block connections without VPN turned on and don’t have any issues. If the connection gets dropped it reconnects automatically.
Which platform struggles to reconnect for you?
I have the same settings as you and I also running it on GrapheneOS on my pixel 9. All up-to-date
It’s a known issue - currently being fixed. Below is a temporary workaround:
- Verify that your NymVPN app is upgraded to v.3.1.1
- Logout of your account (if it’s logged in)
- Restart your device
- After 5 minutes, restart NymVPN and log in with your 24-word passphrase
Force closing the app might work for some users too.
