  • NIP 1: Defines the governance process (voting, proposal format, operator participation).
  • NIP 2: Adjusts the stake saturation point — lowers the maximum stake per node to improve decentralization.

• Users lock NYM tokens on nodes → increases their chances of entering the active set and earning rewards.
• The model encourages high network quality and protects against malicious nodes.
• The stake saturation point limits excessive centralization of stake.

• Reducing the size of the active set (currently: 240 nodes)
