Complete rebuild and redesign of NymHub to serve as the central information hub for NSL members
This project focuses on the complete rebuild and redesign of the NymHub website according to the guidelines established in NSL onboarding - Report. The goal is to transform NymHub into the central point of information for every present and future NSL member, creating a comprehensive platform that includes sign up, sign in, leaderboard, and information pages with proper content hierarchy.
Budget: 50.000 NYM
Duration: 8 weeks total (starting once designer has been onboarded)
Problem statement
The current NymHub website creates significant barriers in the NSL onboarding process that prevent potential contributors from successfully joining the community. The NSL onboarding review shows that key terminology lacks clarity (Example: the distinction between missions and grants), content repetition across multiple pages creates confusion, and the overall site structure lacks logical organization. Navigation elements often mislead rather than guide users, and poor information architecture prevents effective onboarding.
These issues are part of larger NSL onboarding problems where users begin with genuine interest but encounter friction at multiple touchpoints. NymHub, as it currently exists, compounds these problems rather than solving them, making it harder for community members to understand NSL, find relevant information, or successfully complete the sign-up process.
Solution overview
This project will completely rebuild NymHub, creating a streamlined, user-focused website that serves as the definitive hub for NSL information and onboarding. The new NymHub will implement progressive disclosure principles, consistent terminology, and clear user pathways that guide visitors from initial interest to active NSL participation. The solution includes integrating the sign-up process, creating proper information architecture, and establishing NymHub as the central touchpoint that connects all other community platforms.
