In case people would like to use the Windows nym-socks5-client, with various applications, in a public library, hotel, Internet Café etc., I would like to suggest that we have options for ephemeral key usage and that all configuration files can be stored in the current working directory on a USB stick), so that we leave no configuration files in such places, in the usual Windows Nym home config directory.
Hope this makes sense and that you like my proposal.
Thanks. I would like also to mention the nym-client, which is pretty
awsome, because people can receive data within the Nym Mixnet,
with their applications. This would allow traveling Alice to use the
nym-client with the soon coming NymTransfer to send files to Bob’s
office on a regular basis, or when switching roles to receive instructions
within the Mixnet, at her current location.
Tahh well, let’s be honest, I’d see a left open Windows box, even with an admin account logged in – I still wouldn’t even plug anything of my own into that…
Yes sure a no trace portable option is always welcome, even if as said, I wouldn’t use that.. Though the ephemeral key approach make sense for such situations indeed.
