NYMHUB. Grant project

My Report on the NymHub Project: Completion of Phase 1 and Overall Progress

Mission Overview:
The NymHub project aims to create a platform to support the Nym community, incorporating features such as the NSL (Nym Squad League) mission board, integrated registration, leaderboards, and more, as outlined in the project stages. The goal is to build a user-friendly hub for community engagement and growth.

Phase 1: NSL Fundamentals – Completion Report:
I have successfully completed Phase 1 of the NymHub project, focusing on the NSL fundamentals. Here’s how the objectives were met:

  • New and improved NSL mission board: A functional NSL mission board has been created, providing a convenient space for community tasks.
  • Easy-to-navigate and comprehensive NSL documentation: The documentation has been developed, containing a high-level overview of the NSL.
  • NSL explained: A general description of the NSL has been added, explaining its purpose and structure.
  • How to join the Squad League: Instructions for joining the Squad League have been included, simplifying user participation.
  • How can you contribute? (Submissions, grants, missions): Guidelines for contributions, including submissions, grants, and missions, have been described.
  • Ranks explained: A section explaining the ranking system has been added.
  • Squad Wealth Fund: Information about the Squad Wealth Fund has been included.
  • Seasons of NSL: Details about the NSL seasons have been added for clarity on timelines and structure.
  • Etc.: Additional foundational elements, such as basic navigation and structure, have been set up to establish a strong foundation for further development.

Progress on Subsequent Phases:
In addition to completing Phase 1, I have also made progress on some aspects of the following stages:

  • Phase 2: I have started working on the integrated NSL registration/onboarding process, which is partially functional. Additionally, I’ve added initial details about the squads of the Nym community, including their logos and basic information, laying the groundwork for the squad repository.
  • Phase 3: I have addressed some UX and UI issues by incorporating user feedback. A focus group of 10 people was involved to evaluate the site, ensuring convenient navigation on both mobile devices and PCs. Their feedback helped improve the design for better display and usability.

Current State and Readiness:
The NymHub project is ready to launch as an MVP (Minimum Viable Product). The platform is operational, with intuitive navigation on both mobile devices and PCs, as confirmed by the focus group of 10 people who assessed the site’s usability and display. The site is prepared to onboard the Nym community for exploration and interaction with the platform.

Addressing Missing Elements:
As noted in the plan, there are a few aspects that still require attention:

  • UX: While initial UX improvements have been made, further research and refinement are needed based on feedback from external users and community members.

Conclusion:
Phase 1 of the NymHub project has been successfully completed, with some progress made in Phases 2 and 3. The platform is ready to launch as an MVP and can welcome the Nym community for exploration. Navigation is convenient on both mobile devices and PCs, as validated by the focus group of 10 people. I am prepared to continue improving the platform, taking into account community feedback and the remaining goals outlined in the project plan.
