NYM VPN Facebook Profile ( Bengali)

I share something that I’ve just started that I believe aligns with NYM’s mission of protecting digital freedom and privacy…especially in regions where it’s under severe threat.

As someone from South Asia, I’ve seen firsthand how online censorship in third-world countries like India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan is escalating rapidly. In many cases, it’s not just about surveillance…it’s about stifling innovation, suppressing dissent, and making it nearly impossible for small creators and entrepreneurs to thrive. The combination of red tape, bureaucracy, and political control is creating an increasingly hostile environment for open internet access and expression.

In response, I’ve created a Facebook page in Bengali, aimed at promoting NYM through local language, cultural references, and regional humor. The goal is to bring awareness to NYM’s powerful decentralized privacy infrastructure in a way that resonates deeply with everyday users…people who might never read a whitepaper but desperately need digital privacy.

Here’s an example of the kind of content I’m posting (translated from Bengali):

I believe this grassroots approach can help NYM reach the hardest and most heavily censored regions, where big tech and centralized VPNs are either blocked or under constant surveillance. These areas desperately need tools like NYM, but without localized outreach, they remain out of reach. I hope my small contribution can help push it further where it’s needed most.
