Nym Mailer for the Nym Mixnet released

Hi all.

I am pleased to announce to the Nym community
that Nym Mailer has been released. Nym Mailer
sends emails anonymously via the Nym Mixnet,
and the client works with the nym-socks5-client.

Under Releases, you will find the binaries for
the Linux and Windows client, which already
contains the IP address of my postfix MTA in Hungary.

My nym-network-requester runs on a VPS in Spain.

I do not log any data.

The --provider credentials for the nym-socks5-client are:

9pxKWTJPWhPGe9ampMDDkRXzw2mgJ3c6dfuH8dvBuqoA.BQfWQzQ7so7QheicWU4bTx5HaxKSArqg7rmJMSRsKwf@EAauW1yXKKhmPHupHuKon47EiiGkXsDsAeNMBrCT6Hsg

Please be so kind as to refrain from sending mass
emails anonymously and only use it for your personal
email communication. I maintain a blacklist for the
nymmailer server so that, in the event of complaints,
sending to certain email addresses (that have been abused)
can be blocked.

I hope the Nym community finds my service useful and wish
you lots of fun sending anonymous emails to friends.

P.S. please do not share the –provider credentials and
keep them for yourself, until bigger providers support
this project. Thanks!

This is pretty cool, or better said SUPER COOL… I just started NymVPN in fast mode and then the nym-socks5-client and sent an anonymous email. Works like a charm and it is fast. :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks for this! Any idea if the Linux version will work on the Tails OS?

Great question and thanks for asking this! I will test tomorrow
my Tails 7.2 installation and let you know, because it is late here
and I go to bed now. Usually for Tails anonymous emails, I use
my Onion Courier Mixnet and must also test my QuickMail program
with Tails.

No, it does not work with the nym-socks5-client.

Thanks for taking the time to check!

You’re welcome.
