Yesterday, I logged in via nym-VPN and was surprised to see that Palantir was being used.
There are three servers in Germany that are offered by Palantir.
Is it Palantir?
If so, why?

When you connect using an entry/exit gateway, you’re connecting to a node run by Nym community members and not to centralised company servers. This is different from how most other VPNs operate, and because of the decentralised nature of the network it’s hard to impose any kind of ISP restrictions on our operators.
That said, we have active community programs like the Delegations Program to promote nodes/gateways that provide great quality of service. You can learn more here: Delegations Program

Have the “wrong” members then settled in to undermine anonymization?
Dude someone is just trolling - calling a node Palantir is cringe in a same way as when some genius decides to name their WiFi “NSA HQ” …
I’d avoid this provider mostly because of the underlying VPS provider, not the spooky name.

PS CONTABO should get raided or hacked for their scam practices, absolute lack of elementary security principles and basic practices and the worst hardware that exists. Absolute trash. Can prove any of above with empirical evidence.
