Nym Representation and Promotion of NymVPN

Objectives of participation
To present and promote Nym technology, especially focused on digital privacy, Mixnet and metadata anonymization.
Disseminate and offer NymVPN as an anonymous and secure browsing tool.
Generate strategic alliances through networking with startups, NGOs, researchers, influencers and key players in the tech and Web3 ecosystem.
Distribute promotional codes and merchandising to those interested in Nym’s proposal.

During the three days of the event, Swissnex actively participated in information booths, various talks, workshops and meetups:
April 27:
On the first day of the Web Summit Rio 2025, Swissnex organized a welcome lunch at a Bistro Bar, bringing together Swiss startups, Brazilian partners and international guests. This informal event fosters initial connections between entrepreneurs, investors and institutional representatives, establishing an environment conducive to collaboration throughout the rest of the event.

April 28:
During this day of the event, NYM, thanks to the Latin American Startups Alliance (ALAS), had an information booth in Hall 4. This space served as a meeting point for Latin American startups, offering information on collaboration opportunities, support programs and resources available to entrepreneurs in the region.

LATAM @ Web Summit Rio: Meeting of entrepreneurs and leaders from the region to discuss challenges and opportunities in the Latin American technology ecosystem.
Web3 & Crypto: Space to discuss the evolution of decentralized technologies and their impact on the digital economy.
Brasilia @ Web Summit Rio: Meeting focused on technology and innovation initiatives in the Brazilian capital.
Mexico @ Web Summit Rio: Networking with Mexican startups and discussion on the growth of the technology sector in Mexico.
Cybersecurity Meetup: Meeting on current trends in cybersecurity and strategies to protect information in an ever-changing digital environment.
We participated in the pitch competition organized by Swissnex on the swisstech stage, where Swiss startups presented their innovations to an audience of investors and industry experts. This event highlighted emerging technology solutions and encouraged the exchange of ideas among participants.

In addition to the official activities of the Web Summit, we participated in this key meeting of the web ecosystem3:
Stellar Blockchain Night | Web Summit Rio.
Organized by the Stellar Development Foundation, this event brought together more than 220 attendees for an evening focused on blockchain innovation and financial decentralization. Solutions such as Soroswap.Finance (DEX and exchange aggregator) and Meru, a banking platform for freelancers, were presented. Attendees enjoyed a networking environment overlooking Copacabana, while learning about funding opportunities of up to $150,000 USD from the Stellar Community Fund.

Social Media Influencers: Discussion on the role of influencers in brand promotion and content creation on digital platforms.
South American E-commerce: Exploration of e-commerce trends in South America and strategies for growth in the digital marketplace.
NGOs Meetup: Connection between non-governmental organizations to share experiences and collaborations in technology projects with social impact.
Latam Connection - Strengthening Latin America’s Innovation Ecosystem
Exclusive event aimed at reducing collaboration barriers between entrepreneurs in Brazil and the rest of Latin America. Despite the geographical proximity, there are still linguistic, regulatory and cultural differences that this space sought to overcome through strategic connections.
b. Activations carried out
50 free NymVPN codes (1 month) were given to attendees who showed interest and commitment to digital privacy.
Promotional Nym t-shirts and stickers were distributed.
3. Impact and results
Brand visibility: Nym managed to stand out among the event attendees, especially in the networking spaces and thematic meetups.
Qualified leads: Multiple contacts with real interest in implementing or spreading NymVPN in their communities and platforms were captured.
Potential alliances: Conversations were initiated with media representatives, technology communities, influencers and entrepreneurs interested in privacy, decentralization and Web3 technologies.
