Hello there. We all know that WhatsApp collects metadatas unencrypted even if messages content is E2EE. Does mixnet solve the problem of profiling through metadatas collection by Meta ?
No, I would say and someone corrects me please if I am wrong. Using NymVPN for example hides your IP address and when using specially tailored Mix clients for the Nym Mixnet, then yes.

Yes but only at the network layer. The Noise Generating Mixnet covers this: traffic gets mixed, dummy packets kill timing analysis, and Meta only sees a gateway IP. Which both VPNs, Tor can’t do.
*Note that WhatsApp, many other apps report contact lists, device info, and usage patterns to Meta before anything hits the network. For full coverage, choose a better messenger or what @Ch1ffr3punk suggested above.
