Since yesterday, when I update NYM on my debian workstation the app shows “connecting” constantly instead of “connected”. The VPN however seems to be working when I try to find my ip address.
The same happens when trying to disconnect, where it shows “disconnecting” instead of “disconnected” and I need force stop it to get back in.
Any suggestion, if I do something wrong would be appreciated.
have you tried the troubleshooting steps? What are known issues with the current version of NymVPN? – NYM Technologies SA
are you using the app from a restricted region or do you have restrictive firewall settings?

Yes I did try the troubleshooting and more, to no avail.
No, nothing particular about my region, I am in Australia. And no restrictive firewall as my other devices which are Android have no such issues. It is only on my main workstation which runs a Debian derivative that I see that issue.
Check if your app is updated too. If it still persists, you may need to raise a request here (with logs if possible):
