Feature request: option to use encrypted DNS for custom DNS

The latest update of NymVPN for Android reportedly brought “DoH and DoT to enhance ad blocking,” which is nice, but for those who use configurable DNS providers like NextDNS, Control D, AdGuard DNS, or RethinkDNS, the ability to set a DoH/DoT/DoQ/DNSCrypt address is vital because that is the only way to specify to the service which profile they’re using. Encrypted DNS also serves a major and very underrated role in resisting censorship: regular DNS traffic can be hijacked and modified, while encrypted DNS can’t be tampered with.

i install adguard to any important machine and use 127.0.0.1:53 as dns. so on openwrt for guests. adguardhome is configured to extend caching and never user unencrypted bootstrap dns. it dramatically improves performance of Internet overall
best practice keep it in docker container

Also, support for DNS caching would be really nice. In the UX, it could be implemented as a simple toggle on the DNS config page with a field/drop-down that allows inputting the duration.
