Austin Privacy Meetup - Indra’s Awarehouse
Event Date: November 1, 2025
Location: 7904 FM 969, Austin Texas USA
Overview:
On November 1st, 2025, WebWipe hosted a Privacy pop up event at Indra’s Awarehouse in Austin, Texas. This is the 6th privacy event WebWipe’s done around the country and the fourth pop-up one that had Nym and NymVPN as a topic. The privacy event reached 70 attendees which is the largest Privacy pop-up that I’ve been attending, to date
Event Highlights
The event went from 6-10 pm. The venue was extremely accommodating. We were able to manipulate the entire location to make for a great meetup. They also provided food and beverages. I cannot say enough positive things about Indra’s Awarehouse in East Austin
. The venue was a very cool hackerspace and lab that builds and supports privacy projects. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue to host us. Presentations began at 7 pm and finished around 9:45 pm. There were Nym stickers and 1-month NymVPN promos for interested attendees. This was the largest event we’ve presented in regarding Nym. Also the largest amount of interested attendees in checking out NymVPN. Along with the presentation, we played the Noise Generating Mixnet video. I opened the privacy meetup with the NymVPN presentation.
There were also tables with artwork, merch, & swag available for all attendees. There were also a few guest presentations.
