Hey guys, it’s me, your community member Bikram Biswas. I’ve been on a mission to make privacy research super accessible for everyone—researchers, developers, builders, and anyone diving into anonymity, crypto, or data protection. Let me share what I’ve built so far and why, leading up to my latest creation that’s a game-changer
.First off, I started with Anon Lab on Apify:
This scraper pulls together all anonymity-related papers from key sources like arXiv and Semantic Scholar. I built it because digging through scattered papers on topics like Tor networks and zero-knowledge proofs was a pain—now it’s all in one dataset, with abstracts, authors, links, and more. Perfect for anyone starting out in privacy tech.Next, I created the Mixnet Paper Scraper:
This one focuses specifically on mixnet technologies, scraping papers that explore decentralized routing, traffic mixing, and anti-surveillance systems. Why? Mixnets are the backbone of true online anonymity (think Nym or similar projects), but finding comprehensive, up-to-date research was fragmented. I wanted to centralize it for builders experimenting with these protocols. And now, I’ve leveled it up with Privacy Stack—the all-in-one powerhouse:
(Click “Try for free” right from this page to start using it instantly!) This actor combines everything: It scrapes 5,000+ privacy-related papers from arXiv (cs.CR focus and beyond), covering internet anonymity, cryptocurrency privacy, post-quantum cryptography, zero-knowledge proofs, differential privacy, blockchain anonymity, and more. Balanced across four core categories—Tor, ZK (Zero-Knowledge), DP (Differential Privacy), and PQC (Post-Quantum Cryptography)—with no duplicates and a production-ready schema. Why did I build this? After creating targeted scrapers like Anon Lab and Mixnet, I realized the privacy space is huge and interconnected. Developers shouldn’t have to hunt across multiple tools or sites for ideas, gists, authors, publication dates, or implementation hints. Privacy Stack puts literally all privacy research in one place—thousands of papers ready to fuel your projects, literature reviews, or innovations. Whether you’re building a blockchain app, auditing a VPN, or just researching surveillance resistance, this saves hours (or days) of manual searching. I built it for the community, to democratize access and spark more privacy-focused builds.Features include: 5,000+ real papers (balanced ~1,250 per category)
Titles, authors, abstracts, publication dates, arXiv links
Short concept summaries + developer suggestions for implementation
Option to include code implementations when available
No duplicates, easy exports to JSON/CSV/Excel
Quick Step-by-Step Guide:Go to Privacy Stack
Visit the public page:
Start for Free
Click the blue “Try for free” button — it will take you directly to the actor in the Apify Console.
Sign Up / Log In (one-time, quick)
Use Google, GitHub, or email. Free tier works great for testing and small/medium runs.
Configure (Optional – defaults are excellent)
Just Click on the Start button for generating output..Hit the green Start button.
Optional…((((In the Input section: Add arXiv sources/categories if you want to customize . Set max papers per source (default 50, increase for more) ))))
Let Run the Scraper.. Privacy stack do his job .. maximum 2 to 3 minutes..
A full run (thousands of papers) usually finishes in 2–5 minutes and costs .. Nothing…Full Free
Get Your Results
When finished (status: Succeeded): Go to the Output tab . View the clean table (up to 5,000+ entries) . Export as JSON, CSV, Excel, or copy a shareable link . Use it for research, project ideas, literature reviews, or building privacy tools
