Android: Nym Client hangs on FastMode in an "connecting" state 6/6 and then tries switches the server

Device:

Redmipad 6 with HyperOS based on Android 14
Clients:
Nymvpn 2026.11.3
Orbot: 17.9.5

DiagnosticTool: All passed with “OK”

Hello eveyone,

after the Update my servers werent able to establish a new connection ove the fastmode.

it goes through the step 6/6 then hangs on “connecting” and then switches the server.

previous versions has worked flawless.

Tried to make some options like anti censorship,ad blocking and orbot on/off

Nothing Changed.

Update: If i disable the “LAN bypass” it seems to work

@moejoe: I had also opened a thread about this issue, but not thought about that disabling the “LAN bypass” could change it. Obviously, it does, and thus my connection problem mentioned in the other thread is gone. Just posting here for crossref!

Yes, it was almost similar ure right. And i tried this today now with mixed net , it works also on my device dont understand why not some days before.

@moejoe @patrick.weiden (sorry for this again) but can you provide logs where the app doesn’t work with LAN bypass enabled but works with it disabled?

Multiple VPNs aren’t supported so please disable any external firewalls/VPNs/DNS settings when testing.

with the new 2026.12.0-beta.1 it seems to work with bypass lan on

ok now its gonna be strange/weird after a few attempts later its not possible anymore with bypassing lan

Ive also set up my second access point over an mobile Hotspot to exclude issues with my router environment.

On both actual versions stable and beta

nothing changed still no connection with bypass lan on

For me nothing changed. I even updated to the current nightly version “v2026.13.0-nightly.20260731“, but still: When “LAN bypass” is on, Fast mode does not work. As soon as “LAN bypass” is off, Fast mode immediately works!

Update:
on my old t5 media huawei pad it also doesnt work
on an iphone 13 the lan bypass function is working.

so it may has an android issue or an one ,related to chinese devices an their android like operating systems
