Greetings *,
I had some problems with getting the nym-vpn daemon to run on fedora, because I couldnt find any fedora packages, I put up a fedora package mirror that auto compiles and hosts the latest stable version of nym-vpnd so it works out of the box to updated it with the fedora package manager.
If you are a fedora user you can use it now:
sudo rpm --import https://fedora.laissez-faire.trade/RPM-GPG-KEY-nym
sudo tee /etc/yum.repos.d/nym-vpn.repo <<'EOF'
[nym-vpn-stable]
name=Nym VPN Stable Repository
baseurl=https://fedora.laissez-faire.trade/fedora/$releasever/$basearch/
enabled=1
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-nym
EOF
sudo dnf update
sudo dnf install nym-vpnd
echo " You have now installed nym-vpnd on fedora! Enable it by: sudo systemctl enable nym-vpnd"
All build scripts are opensource here:
enjoy and if you are a fedora user, please report bugs so the service can be improved.
Cheers
